## Legal AI: eight experts launch Lelink to support the legal sector’s transformation

Paris, 1 October 2026: Eight experienced practitioners in law, artificial intelligence, legal operations, organisational transformation and public affairs are pooling their expertise to launch Lelink, helping in-house legal departments, law firms, civil-law notaries, institutions and legaltech businesses define and implement their AI strategies.

Following an initial period of experimentation, the legal sector now faces a new challenge: turning early uses of AI into effective, well-governed and sustainable practices. Lelink brings together eight complementary areas of expertise in a single service offering, supporting organisations at every stage of their transformation, from strategic planning to implementation and adoption.

The eight practitioners bring complementary professional backgrounds. They include a legal director and Data Protection Officer who leads her group’s Data & AI Task Force; the author of the first French reference book on legal operations; the chair of the Foresight and Innovation Committee of the French National Bar Council (Conseil national des barreaux); a former ministerial adviser responsible for the liberal professions; and the creator of OpenLegi, a platform providing access to official sources of law.

### A tailored approach for each organisation

Legal organisations approach AI with different priorities, constraints and levels of maturity. Lelink works with each organisation to develop a path suited to its needs, structured around three stages: define, activate and embed.

Six areas of support can be combined according to need: AI and data strategy, deployment and integration, training and adoption, AI governance, bespoke development, and public affairs. Services range from assessments and roadmaps to the deployment of use cases, including tool selection, service offering development, bespoke solution design, team training and the establishment of a governance framework.

“Legal organisations need a broad range of skills to manage their AI transformation. We believe these skills are most effective when brought together. Lelink was created with this aim: to unite complementary expertise around a shared direction, while preserving each practitioner’s agility and specialisation,” says Mamadou Waggeh, co-founder of Lelink.

### Two commitments: independence and transparency

Lelink has no exclusive agreements with any software vendor or legaltech provider. Its recommendations and the solutions it develops are based on each organisation’s needs, working practices, and regulatory and professional ethics requirements.

The collective also commits to presenting the opportunities offered by AI while openly addressing the associated constraints (the EU AI Act, GDPR, professional secrecy, professional ethics and data security), and to clearly explaining both the capabilities and the limitations of the technologies used.

### About Lelink

Founded in 2026, Lelink provides a coordinated service offering for the legal sector, bringing together independent professionals recognised for their specialist expertise, each working within their own area of practice. Its founding members are Daria Viktorova, Charlotte Saint Martin, Emilie Letocart-Calame, François Girault, Mamadou Waggeh, Pauline Riera, Raphael d’Assignies and Yannick Sala. The offering will support, in particular, in-house legal departments, law firms, civil-law notaries, institutions, professional regulatory bodies and legaltech businesses in their AI transformation: assessments and roadmaps, tool selection, pilots and deployment, bespoke solutions, value proposition development, training, governance and compliance, and public affairs.
